Northwest Research Conference
The Regional Intelligence Unit held the Northwest Research Conference on Monday 8 and Tuesday 9 June 2009 at the BT Convention Centre in Liverpool. The purpose of the event was to communicate the findings of recent projects in addition to providing guidance on regional and local data produced by the Office for National Statistics (ONS).  Presentations given at the event are available to download from the events page.

The current economic downturn presents challenging and difficult times for firms, individuals and Government. In light of this the RIU has provided both weekly and monthly summaries of economic conditions. These updates provide a summary of business intelligence reported to help get a better understanding of the economic climate.
