Research

As the Regional Intelligence Unit (RIU) we use research, both to inform internal policy and project development. We exist to supply timely, high quality and accurate data, information and intelligence to both support the strategy and evidence base needs of the region.

In partnership and consultation with regional players, who are members of the Regional Intelligent Network, the RES advisory group and others, we deliver a research programme which identifies the intelligence gaps within the Regional Economic Strategy (RES). This process has now been identified formally and will ensure a comprehensive evidence base to influence the economic development of the region, in the future.
