The NWDA Research Team has updated the Disability in the Northwest report produced by WM Enterprises in 2004. This updated report analyses the number of disabled people, breakdown by gender, economic activity, employment rates and claimant rates, as these were the only areas where updated data was available. Evidence is broken down to local authority level where possible to enable us to understand local disparities. A full report is available together with a Summary document.
