Visitor & Spending Survey
A major Northwest visitor and spending survey was undertaken during 2003-04 on behalf of the Regional Intelligence Unit. Face-to-face interviews were conducted in each of the region's 43 districts, providing a comprehensive picture of visitor characteristics and expenditure.
